TAP-Re has a unique component assembly namely Rotary Union which acts as a connector that allows air to flow in and out while the wheel is rotating. This makes it possible for the system to Inflate or Deflate the tyre while the vehicle is in motion.
TAP-Re uses multiple sensors to collect real-time data of air inside the tyres, particularly the pressure sensor and temperature sensor. This data is then sent to a controller which analyses the inputs and compares it with the ideal figures of air pressure & temperature to take further actions. The controller then sends commands to actuate the valves to fill or release the air inside the tyres to maintain the ideal conditions. This all happens while the vehicle is in motion.
